Beef Empire days in Kansas

Beef and meat lovers will surely have fun and eat their hearts' content at this one of a kind festival extravaganza. At Garden City, Kansas there is an event that caters to the cultural significance of Beef in America. That event is called the Beef Empire Days. It is a full day event where activities, cook offs and contests are held where the central theme circles into this beef-loving state.

Enthusiasts and spectators will realize that they are on the right event because of the huge beef mascot displayed at the front. Rhoda is often mistaken for a real cow because of her unique and authentic appeal to the masses. The huge beef mascot is named as Rhoda and she symbolizes the event itself. Rhoda the mascot is electronically made which means that she sways and Moo's after every few minutes.

At the Beef Empire Days, spectators have lots of fun tasting the unique beef cuisines made by local chefs and restaurateurs. Truly it is a day where stomachs are filled and meat lovers have fun eating their favorite beef dishes. At the festival, people will also learn the skills of cooking delectable and mouth watering meat dishes straight from the experts' cooking prowess. Learn and master the art of culinary expertise and be a master in the kitchen as far as beef recipes is concerned.

A juried show means that judges will be present to judge and score each beef recipe according to the available criterion which is also known by the contestants. At the festival there is also a beef cook off where it will be a juried show. The winning beef recipe will receive a cash prize and a wide recognition where the recipe will be posted online (via internet) for everyone to see.
